About Me:

Sona Lesmeister
Sona Lesmeister

Hi! My name is Soňa. I was born in a small town of the Czech Republic, Europe. That foundation prepared me to champion a multicultural approach in my work.

In the last decade and a half, I have lived in the U.S. This period has been filled with joy, excitement, adventure, as well as depression, overwhelm, and attempts to blend into the new culture. I also searched for happiness, meaning, and marital/parenting bliss. Those experiences provided a rich soil for self-discovery, deepening my faith, understanding self-love, initiating self-care, and reinvigorated my compassion for others.

I am passionate about experiencing life to its fullest by creating life by design, instead of living complacently. I came to realize how I always put off really living until later because there were other things or people that took priority of my attention and energy.

Eventually, I could no longer put everything, and everyone else’s needs before my own. This was my breaking point! While well-intended, my operating mode was self-destructive in my relationships, my health, and in my professional life.

I had to re-learn how to be, how to love myself and others, determine where the real priority was, and why. Sharing my story with other women, I was challenged to put my messy experiences and a-ha moments to a good use as a motivational speaker or coach. I started studying stress, its varying forms, and how to use it as an advantage instead of letting it destroy people’s health, relationships, and careers. In college, I set out to be a Non-Profit Champion in my home country. Now, my passion slightly changed direction, focusing on people and their journeys - spanning from surviving to thriving - using a holistic model. I am constantly adding to my tools and techniques. Because of this philosophy, I also offer my clients Nutrigenomic tools, which effectively lower cellular stress and provide natural solutions to support physical well-being. I partner with a leading company in the field of Nutrigenomics, which boasts over 20 evidence-based research articles in National Library of Medicine on pubmed.gov.

Today, I live in North Dakota with my two sons, a pet lizard, and several newly adopted house plants. I enjoy cooking, meeting people, traveling, dancing, skiing, and discovering life as an essentialist. I am still a beginner at that!

If you feel like I just outlined your life, reach out! I am described by my friends and clients as resourceful, and very relatable, with an ability to empathize and ask challenging questions to help you move in the right direction.
